Sharif University of Technology will be holding an international workshop “Tehran, soot-free city,” with the aim of supporting reduction of black carbon pollution in cities, with the presence of a group of specialists in the field of air pollution.
UNESCO chair in water and environment management for sustainable cities will organize a single day international event on the reduction of black carbon pollution. The event is titled “Soot-free Tehran” and will be held in English in Sharif University of Technology.
The main purpose of this event is to draw attention to the importance of reduction of balck carbon and soot in major cities due to diesel engines, carbrutor vehicles and motorcycles.
The mentioned event will be held on Wednesday September 7th, 2016. A group of especialists in the field of air pollution will participate in the event and deliver speeches on the areas related to the field of reducing black soot pollution.
